Biography of Dr. Talat Deh Pahlavan

Dr. Talat Deh Pahlavan received her PhD in Islamic History from the University of Isfahan in the autumn of 2018 (1397 AH solar). She officially began her collaboration with Razi University in February 2020 (Bahman 1398 AH solar). She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Historical Sciences and Archaeology, Faculty of Literature and Humanities.

During this period, she has taught various courses at the undergraduate level, including:

• A collection of courses on the History of Iran and Islam

• History of Political Thought

• History of the Umayyads and Abbasids

• General Principles of Islamic Culture and Civilization

• Analytical History of Early Islam

• History of the Prophets in the Quran

• The Pure Conduct of the Infallibles (AS) – The Way of Ali and the Prophet (PBUH)

• Mutual Services of Islam and Iran

The courses she typically teaches at the graduate level include:

• Analysis of Popular Movements in Iran over the Last One Hundred Years

• History of Developments in the Islamic World during the Abbasid Era

• Critique and Review of the History of Iran from the Abbasid Caliphate to the Fall of Baghdad

• The History of Iran in the Qajar Era with an Emphasis on Foreign Relations

• Examination of Sources and References for the History of Iran

Research:
Her main research interests include:

• Social History of Iran

• History of Iranian and Islamic Culture and Civilization (with an emphasis on the middle centuries of the Hijri calendar)

• Interdisciplinary Studies

• Document Research in Contemporary History

• Local History of Kermanshah
